By Sonya Lee - Allergysave
This is one of the most popular recipes on my website. I created it for my little man after catching a glimpse of disappointment on his face upon the realisation of missing out on yet another food his sister could eat, but he couldn’t. It gets a bit tricky when you have one child who has no allergies and can eat anything, and another who has such a restricted diet.
As a mum, it’s sad to watch your child with allergies look on and know how left out they feel. The reality is though that often our children with allergies have a much healthier diet. We scrutinise every ingredient that goes into their mouths. We don’t give in to the convenient temptations of regular store bought packaged or processed foods laden with sugar, fat and other weirdo ingredients. We cook, and we cook with ingredients that are safe and healthy.
I hope you enjoy this recipe, from the heart of my kitchen to the heart of yours..... and make sure you download a copy of my FREE e-Book Allergy Friendly Snacks here.
