HAPPY HOLIDAYS! - DISPATCH CLOSED UNTIL MONDAY 6TH JANUARY
Providing healthy and nutritious meals for our children takes a lot of time and planning - especially if you’ve got fussy eaters like me!
Smoothies are a perfect way to combat this as they are quick and easy to make. You can also make them nutrient dense and they're filling too for hungry kids. They make a great breakfast or after school snack, especially if you're busy and driving from one thing to the next.
This recipe is dairy free, wheat free and refined sugar free and based on the Raspberry Smoothie recipe in the Friendship Food book (available for purchase on the Gloriously Free Oats online shop).
Wheat free, dairy free, soy free, egg free
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
½ cup raspberries, fresh or frozen

2 tsp honey, maple syrup or rice syrup
1 tbsp LSA (ground linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds)
⅓ cup of sultanas or dried fruit of choice (optional)
