    Great alternative

    I used the condensed coconut milk in a vegan caramel slice. The condensed milk was very similar in texture to the usual though colour was darker and it wasn’t as sickly sweet. When used with golden syrup and butter (vegan) result was great and got two thumbs up from resident vegan. I will add less butter next time so the caramel sets thicker but very happy with my first attempt! Will now try it in choc truffles!!!
