Gluten free, soy free, nut free and vegan gravy mix
This quick and easy plant based gravy mix makes up to 20 serves. Simply mix with water, bring to the boil and stir. May also be added to casseroles for extra flavour, sprinkled over wedges before baking or even sautéed with mushrooms.
Ingredients: dehydrated vegetables (tomato, mushroom, carrot, celery, onion), maize starch, hemp meal, salt, raw cacao, coconut sugar, Australian chickpea miso (rice, chickpea, salt, koji).
To Make: Mix 1 cup (250ml) cold water and 1 heaped tablespoon (30g) gravy mix together in a small saucepan. Place on a moderate heat and bring to the boil. Simmer, stirring, for 2 minutes until gravy is thick and glossy. Serve warm. This makes 5 serves.
