Honey, Amino and Sesame Drumsticks - Jen Shaw Barefoot Kitchens - Happy Tummies


Honey, Amino and Sesame Drumsticks Recipe

Gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, egg free

Ingredients:

1kg chicken drumsticks
1/4 cup chicken broth (optional)
2 tbsps honey
1 tbsp coconut amino sauce
1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method:

  • Heat oven to 180°C and line a roasting tray with baking paper
  • In a small bowl mix together honey and amino sauce and broth if using
  • Coat over chicken drumsticks until completely covered
  • Roll in sesame seeds and allow to marinate for at least 20 minutes
  • Cook chicken drumsticks for 35 minutes turning half way


Hint: Wheat free tamari makes an excellent substitute for coconut amino sauce
